Located in the quiet neighborhood of Dorsoduro, the Hotel American Dinesen provides weary travelers with a calm, peaceful place to rest. One Real Traveler even claims the the hotel to be the “perfect location in Venice.” Interesting tourist destinations such as St. Mark’s Square and Punta della Dogna, are only minutes away. Alberto Sutera, a part of the family running the hotel, also explains that “[despite the American name], we are a truly Venetian hotel.” Indeed, the Dinesen is directly adjacent to the San Vio Canal and has its own private dock so guests can easily catch a traditional gondola. The hotel has a style that is very reminiscent of old Italy.

From specially serving breakfast to guests having to leave very early in the morning to personally carrying guests’ luggage during the high water levels to ensure they made their flights, the American Denisen seemingly does everything in its power to guarantee their guests a memorable experience.
